1. Soak it
Gently wash the bird’s nest then soak it in room temperature water for approximately 1 hour. Make sure the water covers the entire bird’s nest when soaking.
2. Cook it
Double boil the soaked bird’s nest together with fresh water for 2 to 3 hours depending on the quantity of bird’s nest. You may add rock sugar as the preferred sweetener to enhance the taste and provide a pleasant flavour profile.
3. Serve it
Bird’s nest can be consumed hot or cold as a soup.
